Secondly, Hamlet and Laertes have different types relationships with their fathers, Hamlet despises Claudius where as Laertes loved Polonius. Claudius use Polonius to disperse and kills Hamlet, Polonius uses Hamlet to show his loyalty to the new King. He believes that Hamlet's love for Ophelia is what has Hamlet "mad." Hamlet and Ophelia have a relationship that is quite significant to Hamlet as a whole.
